Named for the 45th Parallel that runs through the Rhone Valley, the Maison Paul Jaboulet Aine winery and vineyard has been operating certified organic since 2016 under the tutelage of oenologist (and eldest daughter of a longstanding Champagne family) Caroline Frey.

The House of Louis Jadot has been producing Burgundy since its founding in 1859 and is now one of the largest producers of estate wines as well as one of the most celebrated exporters of fine Burgundies. In the past 150 plus years, Jadot has also accumulated numerous long-term grower relationships guaranteeing the best fruit in the Cote d’Or and Cote Chalonnaise regions makes it into the bottle.

Aged 9 months in French Oak.

Le Dragon de Quintus- 2020

Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Bordeaux, France

84.7% Merlot, 15.3% Cabernet Franc

Named for the dragon that sits atop the statue that towers over Saint-Emilion, this is the second wine of Domain Quintus. Aged with 32% new French oak, the 2020 vintage is coming in hot at 15.2% ABV, but still presenting beautifully. Will only get better in the next 15 years, too!
