Felino Chardonnay 2019
Mendoza, Argentina; $14.99 WAS $21.99 SAVE $7!
Felino is a single varietal project from Vina Cobos, which world renowned winemaker Paul Hobbs started more than thirty years ago. The fruit is sourced form hand selected vineyards throughout the Lujan de Cuyo and Valle de Uco regions of Mendoza. At nearly 3300ft elevation these high-altitude grapes see excellent sunshine. That ripening leads to flavors of juicy pears, and baked apples. With only four months of aging in oak, it adds just a light toastiness and creamy finish. – Sample $1.50
Cline Cashmere Red Blend 2019
Sonoma, California; $12.99
Certainly, one of the most important wine families of California. Cline Cellars was started by Fred and Nancy Cline in 1982 and they have become well known for their use of ancient vines and care for the land. Fred teaches sustainable farming methods to new generations with a goal of making Sonoma County the first entirely sustainable wine growing region of the United States.
The classic Cashmere Red from Cline is a velvety blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre. Aromas of spicy cherry and vanilla lead to generous flavors of cherry and blueberry with hints of black pepper and baking spices. Balanced and silky. – Sample $1.00
Felino Malbec 2019
Mendoza, Argentina; $17.99 WAS $29.99 SAVE $12!
2019 is often considered one of the best red wine vintages in Argentina’s recorded wine history. Good sunshine and low rainfall produced intense and healthy fruit. This screams classic Malbec, aged eight months in mainly neutral small American oak barrels to just soften the edges.
“The excellent vintage shows through here with violets and crushed raspberries. Extremely aromatic. Medium to full body, fine yet light tannins and a delicious finish.” – 93pts James Suckling – Sample $1.50
Hess “Allomi” Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
Napa Valley, California; $31.99 WAS $49.99 SAVE $18!
Sourced from four biodynamically farmed vineyards – Champoux, Wallula, SeVein and Loess in the Red Mountain, Horse Heaven Hills, and Walla Walla AVAs. About 85% Cabernet with small percentages of Merlot, Malbec, Syrah and Petit Verdot blended in. Aged 20 months in French oak from multiple forests and barrel ages.
“Blended with small amounts of Petite Sirah, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Malbec, this likable pour offers perfumed red fruit and bright acidity within a full-bodied, integrated core of smooth texture. A background of herbal notes complements the dense black cherry and blackberry core.”- 90pts Wine Enthusiast and Editors’ Choice– Sample $3.00
