Underrated for sure… Grainworks has become a regular for us as one of the all around best local breweries. With a focus on classic styles, dabbling into more contemporary offerings they do an excellent job of being “trendy” and grounded with extremely well made beers. James will be at the growler station sampling a flight of four different beers. Stop on by to try the flight!
Featured Brews:
Rusty Bumper Brown Ale: One the first beers we tried from Grainworks and still is a go to for me (Carl). A pretty rich Brown Ale with lots of toffee, caramel, caramel and roasty flavors. 5.7%ABV
Westchesteren 8 Belgian Dubbel: A play on Westvleteren often referred to as “Westy”, a almost 200 year old Trappist Belgian brewery often considered one of the best breweries in the world. Grainwork’s homage is rich and malty with some spicy phenolics and dark fruit flavors. 7.7%ABV
Brewers Breakfast Imperial Oatmeal Stout w/Coffee & Chocolate: Like silk, loaded with oatmeal, dark chocolate, and coffee from Resurgam a local roaster. 8.0%ABV
Poundsign Nofilter Hazy IPA: Loaded with hops that give tropical fruit notes of mango and pineapple with a really juicy soft finish. A balanced New England style. 7.2%ABV
