Based out of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, Collective Arts combines the craft brewing culture with art. Their cans all feature artwork submitted by independent artists from all over the world. If you missed out on trying their beers last month when they came by to sample some cans you are in luck! Jordan will be here from the brewery at the growler station sampling three of their beers on draft.
We have also had some requests from customers to sample more of the higher end beers. So this week we are going to be offering a $1 Sample of one of their beers from the Origin of Darkness series. Each year Collective Arts partners with breweries around the world to create these unique collaborations. At $13.99 a bottle we are super excited to get their collaborations with Voodoo Brewing out of Pennsylvania, Prairie Artisan Ales out of Oklahoma, Siren from Berkshire, England, and CR/AK Brew from Veneto, Italy. We will have the Voodoo collaboration open for samples!
Featured Brews:
Audio Visual Lager: Brewed with pilsner malt and brown rice and cold aged for 4 weeks for a refreshingly clean, and crisp finish. Hit with Wai-iti hops for fresh notes of lime and mandarin citrus, rounding out this traditional style. 4.9%ABV
Ransack the Universe IPA: Classic west coast style IPA. Galaxy hops from Myrtleford, Victoria in Australia and Mosaic hops from Yakima, Washington delivering killed tropical, mango and citrus. Was one of my favorites I’ve tried from them. 6.8%ABV/85IBU
Hazy State Double Dry Hopped IPA: Loaded with 16g/L of Amarillo, Citra, Mosaic and Centennial hops. Hazy, juicy New England IPA. 4.1%ABV
Origin of Darkness 2019 Voodoo Stout: **$1.00 Sample** This is a huge Imperial Stout brewed with Cocoa Nibs and Cassia Bark (also known as Chinese Cinnamon) and then aged nearly 2 years in Bourbon Barrels. It is super rich and chocolaty with a nice sweet spice through the finish. 11.5%%ABV
