Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau Rose 2024- $16.99/btl $2.50/taste

Beaujolais, France

The first wine of the 2024 harvest is here and it was just released YESTERDAY! Made entirely of Gamay Noir hand-harvested 6 weeks ago, this rose is LUSH and FRESH and made perfectly for all of your Thanksgiving needs! Whether it go with dinner or getting chugged before dinner with your left hand while you hold your right hand under the cold water tap because your sister pulled the cast iron out of the oven that SHE PREHEATED with the cast iron in it and set it on the stove and didn’t tell you that it was 350 degrees… it’s a great wine!

59 Prime ‘Cuvee Sophie’ Pinot Noir 2020- $9.99/btl $2.50/taste

Loire, France

This is 100% Pinot Noir from different vineyard sites within the Loire Valley. This vintage saw a longer hangtime for the grapes, providing more richness. That combined with the use of both French and American oak, the spice on this bad boi is nice. Not like the time you asked your sister to bring a pumpkin pie and she decided to bring a sweet potato pie instead and you were like “ok whatever” but everyone else was like “ewww what?!” And your sister’s feelings were hurt and you had to try to make her feel better but your hand still hurt so you guys just drank a bottle of Pinot and cried.

Chateau Marsau Bordeaux 2019- $19.99/taste $2.50/btl

Right Bank Bordeaux, France

100% Merlot from (in my humble opinion) the best bank of Bordeaux. Rich fruit with tart tannins and it really opens up just so nicely. I loved this wine when we had it for it’s full price of $34.99, so when the opportunity to buy it in at $19.99 came up, I was like “duuhhh”. Much like that one time… well, nevermind.

Bouchet and Merle CFM 60/40 2018- $8.99/btl $2.50/taste

Bordeaux, France

60% Cabernet Franc and 40% Merlot, blended with serious intent. This vintage in particular is lovely. Plum and spice with some quince and just a touch of anise. Long finish that is rich enough to go with a big dinner or a chocolate cake. BUT IT DOES NOT go with your sister’s green bean casserole… YUCK.
