M. Dean Chardonnay- 2021

California

A rich a crisp Chardonnay that partially fermented in stainless and finished in 25% new French Oak barrels with only 1/3 of the wine undergoing malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged for 10 months so the fullness is there, but there is so much pear and fresh fruit on the palate, you almost forget it’s Chardonnay!

Cattin Sauvage Pinot Noir- 2021

Alsace, France

This delicious Pinot is brought to you by the 3 centuries owned and operated family vineyard and winemaking team of Cattin in Voegtlinshoffer, Alsace where they own over 65 hectares of vineyards making them one of the largest landowning producers in Alsace! Ruby red, rich red fruits and slightly spicy. Lovely.

d’Arenberg ‘The Footbolt’ Shiraz- 2021

McLaren Vale, South Australia

Fourth generation winemaker Chester Osborn pulls out a lot of tricks with this bad boi Shiraz. Open fermentation, basket pressing and yes, foot treading. Aged on the lees for 12-18 months in new and neutral French Oak. Coming in at 14.55 ABV with hints of dried strawberries and currants.

$21.99/btl $2.50/taste

Penley ‘Pheonix’ Cabernet Sauvignon- 2021

Coonawarra, South Australia

Descendent of Penfolds and Tolleys, Penley Winery is operated by sisters Ang and Bec Tolley with winemaker Kate Goodman at the helm. Knowing VERY well what excellent South Australian wine is, they decided to take Penley in a more approachable direction with more affordable but still fabulous wine, really owning Cabernet in Coonawarra. Its nearly perfect, medium body and rich red fruited palate sets Pheonix apart and I’d rival it against any Cabernet from California with a price tag equivalent or even doubled.

$19.99/btl $2.50/taste
