Moncato Fondiglie Verdicchio Classico Superiore- 2021
Marche, Italy
Certified sustainable in the mountainous region of DOC Verdicchio Classico in Marche lies a little winery that looks over their beautiful vineyards producing Verdicchio and Lacrima grape varietals. This wine has minerality and viscosity, hints of lemon curd and structured creaminess that’s reminiscent of almonds.

Boffa Roero Arneis DOCG- 2021
Piedmont, Italy
Fourth generation winemaker (and adorable person) Gabriele Boffa has been making wine since he was 14 years old… and he’s not much older than that now! Since 1920 his family has operated in Barbaresco as farmers, planting first Barbera and Dolcetto before branching out to Nebbiolo and finally acquiring parcels of land in the Roero to plant Arneis. Arneis literally means “little rascal” as it’s been historically a pain in the butt to successfully grow. When done correctly however, such as in this case, it is gorgeous and floral and crisp and I love it!

Il Cavaliere Ruche- 2020
Monferrato, Piedmont, Italy
Perhaps originally from Burgundy and thought to be lost until it was discovered growing wild in the hills of Monferrato, Ruche is a really freaking cool grape. Known for its fresh aroma of roses and lightly peppery finish, this wine served with a slight chill on it, is undeniably interesting, if not mouth-wateringly delicious.

Boffa Langhe Nebbiolo- 2021
Piedmont, Italy
THIS IS A BABY BAROLO/BARBARESCO! Beautiful, elegant, sassy and smart. Over-delivering like it’s its job is to make you ask “Wait, how much did I pay for this?!” Cherry, cola, herbs, and long, long tannins. You can drink this RIGHT now, or you can hold on to it for years. Mind-blowing, tbh.
