Featured Wines:

 Nortico Alvarinho 2020

Minho, Portugal; $14.99

100% Alvarinho (Albarino) from tiny vineyard plots in Moncao and Melgao, on the northern border with Spain’s Galicia province. The Alvarinho’s of Portugal tend to have more stone fruit flavors versus the heavy citrus notes of Spain. We taste ripe apples, white peaches, with touches of minerality and salinity. A perfect crisp and refreshing summer sipper. – Sample $1.25

Ferrari Carano Fume Blanc 2020

Sonoma, California; $12.99

Ferrari Carano was one of the pioneers of the Fume Blanc style. It was one of their first two wines, produced more than forty years ago. Typically, the term Fume Blanc was used in California to refer to Sauvignon Blanc that was aged in a bit of oak. This one uses a combination of stainless-steel tanks and neutral French oak barrels.

“…aromas and flavors of grapefruit, peach, melon, lychee, lemon grass, lime zest, lemon chiffon and floral notes with a hint of minerality. The Fume Blanc has bright acidity and crisp freshness from the cool, stainless streel tank fermentation, while the subtle oak character from the neutral French oak barrels adds body, complexity and depth.” – Sample $1.25

Cline Ancient Vines Zinfandel 2019

Contra Costa, California; $13.99

Great wines, and great people. Founded by Fred and Nancy Cline in 1982. Fred finally decided to retire in 2020, but his legacy will impact the industry for generations to come. He was a pioneer of the Rhone Rangers movement, worked to restore some of the oldest vineyard sites of California, and has spent years teaching sustainable vineyard management.

The AV Zin is one of their classics. Produced from dry farmed vines in Contra Costa, some more than 100 years old. Dense berries, white pepper, and vanilla. – Sample $1.25

Sunspell Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

South Australia, Australia; $14.99

This is a lighter, un-oaked style of Cabernet. Sourced from three of the major regions of Southeastern Australia. The more inland Riverlands, the hills of Barossa, and the southern coastal area of Coonawarra, all bring their own unique qualities. The resulting wine is very juicy, with smooth tannins, and a dry finish. Notes of plum, black cherry, and a hint of eucalyptus.  – Sample $1.25
