Featured Wines:

1) Chaval Chardonnay Moscatel 2019

Valencia, Spain; $12.99

Let’s keep this trend going of starting the tastings with a crisp and refreshing crowd pleasing white. This is another white blend, unique for Spain it is a combination of Chardonnay and Moscatel. These two grapes create a great balance, bringing together the softer style of Chardonnay with the much crisper style of Moscatel. Tons of tropical and stone fruit flavors; crisp green apple, ripe pear, banana, and pineapple. - Sample $1.00

 2) Cerro Anon Rioja Crianza 2017

Rioja, Spain; $9.99

A blend of Tempranillo, Mazuelo and Graciano mainly from their estate vineyards in Rioja Alavesa, with just a bit from Rioja Alta. Crianza is essentially the first tier of reserve wines in Spain. By law the wine is required to see a minimum of two years of aging prior to release with at least one of those years in barrel. This wine sees about 14 months in barrel, majority American oak.

“This red has depth and energy, in the traditional style. Cherry, leafy and orange peel flavors mingle with loamy earth notes, supported by firm tannins and citrusy acidity. Complex and harmonious.” 91pts Wine Spectator - Sample $1.00

 3) “1907” Malbec 2018

Mendoza, Argentina; $13.99

Produced by Mendoza Vineyards who manages nearly 200acres of vineyards throughout Lujan de Cuyo. This is sourced from a plot planted in 1907; hence the name. Because the vines are so old, they have an extremely low yield which helps intensify the fruit. The wine undergoes a native yeast fermentation followed by an 8-month aging process in new French oak barrels. The wine is soft and lush, with jammy plum and blackberry flavors. - Sample $1.00

 4) Jax Y3 Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Napa Valley, California; $19.99

Jax Vineyards, started by brother and sister team Trent and Kimberly Jackson in 1996. They added this Y3 line to produce wines at a more approachable price point than their flagship single vineyard wines. The Y3 series still showcases their high-quality production. All hand harvested fruit, hole berry fermentation in concrete tanks, and then aged 22 months in French oak. Completely unfined and unfiltered to retain lots of texture. Just a rich and dense Cab.

“This is a screaming deal for such well-made wine, brawny in toasted oak notes that support a hearty core of soft, supple black cherry and currant. With 5% Merlot, it is approachable, wide in appeal and emphatically delicious.” 90pts Wine Enthusiast & Editor’s Choice - Sample $2.00
