One of the up and coming local breweries. Opening their doors in 2017, they have truly exploded in popularity and have been embraced by the neighborhood. With a focus on classic beer styles and fewer adjuncts common to many craft breweries these days, West Side is making a name for themselves with Common Ales, Hefeweizen, ESB, and others. A true homage to well made European styles. Stop by the growler station to sample a flight of four beers!
Featured Brews:
Hefeweizen: A traditional German style loaded with clove, spices and just the right amount of banana. Brewed with select German yeast and left unfiltered. 4.9%ABV/19IBU
Oktoberfest: A classic Marzen style. I thought this was one of the best domestic Oktoberfest beers I’ve had. Clean, with lots of bready malts and just enough hops to add a little spice. 5.15%ABV/22IBU
Double IPA: West coast best coast in my mind. Huge dank pine note with lots of tropical fruit. A hop bomb DIPA. Loved it! 9.3%ABV/80IBU
Porter: A malty sweetness with lots of dry chocolate and a light piney hop note. It is a great balance to make it very crushable for a darker style. 6.13%ABV/42IBU
