Christopher Michael Wines

Started in 2009 by brothers Eric Christopher and Ryan Michael Harms in Willamette, Oregon. After growing up in the Midwest the two both ended up in the wine industry somehow with Ryan working as a winemaker in Oregon and Eric on the financial side in California. This venture brought them together with a focus on grapes of the Pacific Northwest making wines that are fresh, vibrant and very approachable.

Featured Wines:

2018 Pinot Gris; $14.99

Classic Orgeon Pinot Gris here. This is a blend of Willamette, Eola-Amity Hills and Umpqua Valley grapes. Done in all stainless steel to keep it crisp and refreshing. Dry, but super juicy with notes of yuzu, ripe tangerines and white peaches. - $1.25 Sample

2015 Chardonnay; $14.99

A blend of Chardonnay lots from Wahluke Slope, Horse Heaven Hills and Columbia Valley. They only age about 15% of the wine in French oak so the resulting wine is a great balance between the oak and fruit. Bright tropical fruit, white pears and a little toastiness on the finish. - Sample $1.25

2016 Red Blend; $14.99

Produced from mainly Washington fruit, but they do blend some grapes from the Sierra Foothills in California. The blend is Merlot based with some Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tannat., which I am guessing is what's being grown in Cali. All of the grapes play well together here with the Merlot bringing fresh fruit and a softness, the Cabernet Sauvignon adds layers of cassis and currant, the Syrah rounds it out with some juiciness and the Tannat adds body and structure. Aged in French oak barrels adding some nice vanilla through the finish. - $1.25 Sample

2015 Cabernet Sauvignon; $14.99

Another Washington red here with most of the fruit coming out of the Columbia Valley. Not 100% Cab… They do blend small amounts of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and even some Grenache into this. This is a drink now Cabernet with lots of bright red cherries and raspberry fruit balanced with lots of baking spices and a note of tobacco. - $1.25 Sample
