Chateau Laulerie Bergerac Blanc 2021- $15.99/btl $2.50/taste
Right Bank, Bergerac, France
About 95% Sauvignon Blanc and 5% Semillon from the AOC of Bergerac, a small commune located on the right side of the Dordogne River. This region produces medium-bodied whites with crisp, citrus-forward aromatics and a stone fruit character that is a late-summer must have!
Cousin Oscar Vin de France- $19.99/btl $2.50/taste
Named for winemaker Jean-Marie’s wife’s cousin Oscar (who was apparently irresistible to the ladies), this silly-cool wine is a blend of Cinsault and Pinot Noir (I know, what?!) and is made to be served slightly chilled because that’s the way the ladies like it, BAYBEE.
Barramundi Shiraz 2021- $15.99/btl $2.50/taste
Victoria, Australia
Proudly, I can tell you that this wine is actually distributed and consumed in Australia! I know that sounds like a ‘duhhh’ thing to say, but you’d be surprised how many things are made for export only and the locals wouldn’t be caught dead with it… (Fosters, for instance)… ANYWAYS! Barramundi Shiraz is insanely drinkable and honestly the first thing I thought of for tonight, where going home after the wine tasting and sitting by the firepit sounded like the best thing in the world.
Usiglian del Vescovo Chianti Superiore 2017- $21.99/btl $2.50/taste
Pisa, Tuscany, Italy
I LOVE THE USIGLIAN WINES! 100% Sangiovese with more Italian herbs and roma tomatoes on the nose and palate than you can shake a stick at! These folks wouldn’t even know how to mess up a wine. They’d have to literally TRY to mess it up- and even then, I’m sure it would be totally fine. Goodness me. Enjoy!
