Gavi is a style of wine made from the grape varietal Cortese and also a DOCG wine region located in the southeast corner of Piedmont, north of the Ligurian border. So, Gavi di Gavi is effectively Gavi FROM Gavi and I LOVE SAYING IT SO MUCH. My goofy Italian impression knows no bounds around this wine. Oh, and it’s delicious.
