Carneros…the wine region that straddles both Napa and Sonoma and one of the perfect regions for both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.  Post & Beam is an example of classic Carneros Chardonnay…bright acidity balanced with ripe fruit.  In the gem world, we’ll call this one a Yellow Topaz…represents wisdom and divine favor. (also my birthstone!)

Chateau Marsau Cotes de Bordeaux 2019- $19.99/btl $2.50/taste

Cotes de Bordeaux, France

100% Merlot from France know it for it’s elegance and silky tannins encased in cassis and violet flowers.  So this is your amethyst for the evening…asking us to connect with our higher consciousness. (it also represents sobriety…not a match for the evening)

Chalk Hill Red Blend 2019 - $19.99/btl $2.50/taste

Sonoma Coast, California

Predominantly Malbec but with the addition of Syrah and Petit Verdot an additional depth of dark fruit, richness and color.  Only a stone of passion and love would suffice…the garnet of the evening.

Beckmen Cuvee le Bec 2021 - $25.99/btl $2.50/taste

Santa Ynez Valley, California

Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, and Counise from on of the original Rhone Rangers in California.  The 2021 vintage is being hailed one of the best vintage of Cuvee le Bec…Lively acidity wrapped in dark berries, black pepper and licorice.  The top of the crown tonight sits a Ruby…representing wealth, prosperity and passion.
