Cantina del Garda Valpolicella 2021- $12.99/btl $2.50/taste
I think you may have figured out by now that we have yet to leave the Veneto… but we will soon, so just relax! This Valpolicella (cool kids say ‘Valpo’) is made of the same grapes more or less as the Chiaretto we just had! Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara. These are all the same grapes as used to make Amarone, but this isn’t even a Ripasso! Just the wine as it is. Velvety cherry and herbs.
