Wines
Flysch Txakolina- 2022 $19.99/btl $2.50/taste
Basque, Spain
100% Hondarrabi Zuri grown in the alternating sandstone and shale soils referred to as “flysch” in the heart of the Basque. Completely dry-farmed and fermented with native yeast, lightly filtered to keep some yeast in the bottle creating a light, natural bubble when poured from high (which is the way it’s done in Spain by hot Spanish dudes, just trust me). Very dry, with lemon, herb and floral notes.
Bodegas Renancer ‘Punto Final’ Cabernet Sauvignon- 2022 $14.99
Mendoza, Argentina
High-elevation fruit aged one year in neutral oak with soft tannins and light baking spice notes. Black fruit, sandalwood and flowers on the nose. “Punto Final” translates to “full stop” in Spanish, and when you taste this wine at this price, I do believe you might come to a full stop.
Sonnino Chianti- 2021 $13.99/btl $2.50/taste
Tuscany, Italy
80% Sangiovese, 15% Canaiolo and 5% Trebbiano rested in large, neutral Botti for 12 months. We tried to do this wine a few months back and ran out. BUT, I don’t think we’ll run out today! A great, CLASSIC Chianti made the old way. Xoxo
Shinas Estate ‘The Guilty’ Shiraz- 2019 $19.99/btl $2.50/taste
Victoria, Australia
Made entirely of Shiraz from vines ranging from 16-66 years old and aged 24 months in neutral French barriques. The owner and winemaker George IS AN ACTUAL JUDGE and all of his wines are named after the judicial system. This wine is a little hottie coming in at 15.1% ABV and is only made in small lots and only if The Judge deems the season has had perfect growth potential. If The Judge ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy.
