Wines
Flora White Blend- $24.99/btl $2.50/taste
Austria
A biodynamic blend of indigenous Austrian varietals like Riesling, Scheurebe and Gelber Muskateller. There is an amazing focus on citrus in this wine with fine, dry herbs and fresh mint with a zippy-grapefruit finish.
Marioni ‘FIELDS’ Red Blend- $19.99/btl $2.50/taste
Mendocino, California
An unfined and unfiltered co-ferment of Zinfandel, Carignan and Petit Syrah from the organic Testa Vineyard comprised of gravel and brittle rock soil. Harvested by hand and untouched by oak or added SO2 (sulfites). FIELDS is fresh and airy and unpretentious and just very drinkable and surprisingly stable considering the omission of so many things most winemakers either can’t or won’t omit!
Atilia Montepulciano d’ Abruzzo- $18.99/L $2.50/taste
Abruzzo, Italy
100% Montepulciano (the grape-NOT place) from 15–20-year-old vines grown in clay-rcih soil and hand-harvested. A 2 week long maceration in stainless steel tanks with only natural, indigenous yeasts and then BAM! It chills out and then goes into a liter bottle and then I buy it and then you buy it and then we drink it! Easy as pie! Speaking of pie… this wine tastes like marionberries and is delicious.
Marioni ‘Merlo’ 2020- $26.99/btl $2.50/taste
Mendocino, California
Again with the un-fined and unfiltered! But this time it’s Merlot only! The average age of the vines is 29 and they’re harvested by hand. The fermentation is spontaneous and the grapes are destemmed, ensuring that the fruit is the main focus, before being gently racked neutral oak barrels where it spends 12 months. The tannins are present, but well integrated. The fruit is BOLD and all together, this is a great wine. No added SO2. Just wine.
