100% Chenin Blanc selected from the best estate vineyard sites. After harvesting, destemming and crushing, spontaneous fermentation kicks off in concrete and new and used barrique and Foudre barrels. The wine is then set to rest in barrel on the lees for 6 months where malolactic fermentation takes place. Pear, apple and gentle citrus components with slight spice.

Subsoil is named for the 20,000 years ago flood that cut the soil of the Columbia Valley basin into so many different layers and is made by Mercer Estate. It’s comprised of 63% Merlot, 20% Syrah, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Malbec. Stainless steel fermentation with twice daily pump-overs and then aged 16 months in 25% new French Oak. Bright, ripe black cherries with notes of milk chocolate. Great wine.
