Mayu Pedro Ximenez 2021
Elqui Valley, Chile; $14.99
Pedro Ximenez; though a historic varietal it is not commonly found outside of Spain where it is seen frequently in Sherry production. One other major use for the varietal is in the Elqui Valley of northern Chile where they produce Pisco. Vina Mayu converted some of the highest elevation vineyards in Chile from Pisco to premium still wine production. The PX is unoaked and dry, with floral notes, melon and ripe citrus. Minerally, with mouth-watering acidity, perfect for seafood… or your patio. – Sample $1.50
Reginato Sparkling Rose of Malbec NV
Mendoza Argentina; $19.99
Pepe, and his father Jose; A father and son team making some of the best sparkling wines in Argentina. They operate outside of the box at Reginato, being one of the only producers of sparkling wines from classic Argentine varietals. This 100% Malbec delivers closer to a true sparkling red wine than some other rose bubbles. A hint a tannin and structure, “bubbles with body”. Crisp and dry, with notes of strawberry, rhubarb, and a touch of spice. – Sample $2.00
J. Bouchon Pais Viejo 2021
Maule Valley, Chile; $14.99
Named a “Top 100 Winery of 2021” by Wine and Spirits magazine. They showcase tradition with more than 100 years and four generations of family on the property. Sustainable farming practices, and centuries old winemaking techniques deliver classic terroir driven bottles. This 100% Pais comes from 100+ year old dry farmed vines. A grape varietal not common in the United States, but until the early 2000s was the most planted grape varietal in Chile. A native yeast fermentation, with aging done in concrete. The resulting wine is very fresh tasting, with lots of bright strawberry, wildflowers, and tart cherry flavors. – Sample $1.50

Malbec / Bonarda / Syrah
La Posta is hands down one of our favorite Malbec producers. They work with small families throughout the Uco Valley sourcing extremely high-quality fruit. The grapes of the Tinto Red Blend come from ungrafted vines in La Consulta aged 9 months in 2nd and 3rd use barrels.
