2018 Rapaura Springs Sauvignon Blanc – Marlborough, NZ; $12.99

A brand new one to Ohio with an absolute ton of medals and accolades. Rapaura Springs was awarded as the best Sauvignon Blanc in the world and New Zealands wine producer of the year in 2015. This one will be a big seller as we move into the summer.

“Our 2018 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc displays lifted passion-fruit, lychee and pink grapefruit aromas with herbal and zesty citrus notes. A pure and vibrant wine with layers of delicious tropical citrus fruits and gooseberry flavors. Pure, fresh and vibrant fruit flavors and crisp acidity combine to deliver a long and refreshing finish. A quintessential Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, it's sure to impress.” - $1.00 Sample

2017 Minuty Cotes de Provence Rose – Provence, FR; $5.99 WAS $19.99 SAVE $14

At this point I think that this close-out is going to steal the show. I believe this will be the best rose deal we get all year. Part of it is price, but it is just really good. This one will sell out very fast once people get to try it. Grenache based with a bit of Cinsault and Syrah. The low rainfall in the region for 2017 produced very concentrated and intense fruit. Completely hand harvested fruit from low yield vineyards. I has a wonderful minerality and freshness. Lots of cantaloupe, candied orange, peach and red currant flavors. - $0.50 Sample

2016 Josh Paso Robles Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon – Paso Robles, CA; $17.99

The reserve series was introduced in 2018 with the intention of focusing on individual California appellations. Starting with the North Coast label and most recently adding the Paso Robles and Lodi appellations. This series shows much more complexity, with more oak presence. Lots of cinnamon, clove and spices on the nose with ripe juicy dark fruits. It is very rich with bright red cherry and blackberry flavors, accented by notes of vanilla. A long smooth finish. - $1.50 Sample

2016 Daou Pessimist Red Blend – Paso Robles, CA; $24.99

I think the view looking out on the backside of the Daou tasting room may be one of the best views I have ever experienced. The tasting room was a bit over the top for me, everything was just white marble, but the view… Their 100 acre estate is mainly planted with Bordeaux varietals and then a bit of Chardonnay. The Pessimist moves away from that traditional French style and showcases the varietals that have really put California on the map. This wine is huge. Mainly Petite Sirah with Syrah and Zinfandel. Aged a full year in oak about half of which was new. It scored 90+ points from multiple publications and was a Editors Choice winner from Wine Enthusiast. It offers tons of sweet blackberry jam and spice. The oak brings some great vanilla bean and white chocolate. Very concentrated with soft, lush tannins. - $2.00 Sample
