Killer Cali Wine Tasting

We are featuring a unique lineup of some new California buys that I really just think people will love. The Farmhouse White we are starting with is just crisp and super refreshing, I expect it to be a staple for many people this Spring/Summer. We also have an AMAZING deal on a killer Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir and then finishing with a Red Blend that I have been looking to bring in for a while now.

Featured Wines:

2017 Farmhouse White Blend – California; $9.99

A super cool blend of Palomino, Muscat Canelli, Roussanne, Marsanne, Viognier and Riesling. Named “Farmhouse” after the school house located at Green Tring Farm in Petaluma, CA. The farm teaches students from around the world the “Green String” farming method developed by Bobby Cannard and Fred Cline. It teaches them true sustainable and natural farming practices. The grape blend in this wine offers a balance of acidity with a crisp tropical, tangerine and lime citrus, peachy flavors. The perfect porch pounder… Can't wait for Spring! - $1.00 Sample

2017 Cline Viognier – North Coast, California; $10.99

One of the most under appreciated grapes I believe. Typically it has a rounder style more similar to Chardonnay, but typically produced without the oak. If you like unoaked Chardonnay I think Viognier may be a perfect wine to add to your life. Produced best in California in the North and Central coast where very cool nights can help retain acidity in the final product. This one still has a freshness to it with notes of apricot, mandarin orange and grapefruit. Great if you are looking for a wine to go with a stir fry or curry and would prefer something more on the dry side. - $1.00 Sample

2015 Route Stock “116” Pinot Noir – Sonoma Coast, California; $12.99 WAS $22.99 SAVE $10

I really do think this is the best Pinot Noir in the store under $15. Each wine they make is named after the state route that runs through that area. Route 116 runs through the Sonoma Coast originating near the town of Sonoma and end at HWY 1 near Jenner. This Pinot is produced from a blend of two separate vineyards. Aged in French oak for 10 months. The wine is super complex… Raspberry, wild flowers, orange blossoms and even some hazelnuts hit your nose. Those flavors carry through with some herbs and a bit of spice from the oak. - $1.00 Sample

2016 Sexual Chocolate Red Blend – Santa Barbara, California; $24.99

Certainly the newcomer on the block. SLO Down Wines started in 2008 with only 93 cases of this wine. They have now grown to include five other small releases. Named SLO after the area of San Louis Obisbo in the central coast of California. This wine is an extremely juicy red made from a blend of Syrah and Zinfandel.

...packed with ripe dark fruit and exotic spices, finishing with a lingering soft silky texture. Syrah is the star of the show, delivering a smoky, ripe, dark cherry profile.” - $2.00 Sample
