2016 Pazo de Seoane Rosal

Rias Baixas, Spain; $19.99

World renowned winery La Rioja Alta opened this winery in Rias Baixas as a secondary winery to produce some fantastic white wines in Southwest Spain. This one is a fantastic white blend of mainly Albarino is combined with three local varietals Caino, Treixadura, and Loureiro. Unbelievable aromas of juicy oranges and green apples with a background of pineapple and grapefruit. Very fresh and vibrant on the palate with a mouthwatering fruit forward finish. - $1.25 Sample

 2015 Bozeto Rioja

Rioja, Spain; $13.99

Bozeto was a wine project started by Tom Puyaubert after years working for prominent Bordeaux producers he fell in love with Rioja, its vineyards, culture and even the Spanish way of life. This Rioja is just a great everyday wine. The blend showcases its higher levels of Garnacha with loads of bright red fruits; strawberry, cherry, cranberry. Supported with some Tempranillo and Graciano, this wine shows great elegance with a fruity, long finish.  - $1.25 Sample

2016 Emilio Moro Finca Resalso

Ribera del Duero, Spain; $15.99

Bodegas Emilio Moro is a family winery featuring winemaking traditions passed down for three generations. The oldest vineyard of the estate was planted in 1924. Finca Resalso is also the name of one of their historic vineyards planted originally in 1932. This wine is made from some of the younger vines that have been planted in this vineyard. Made from 100% Tinto Fino(Tempranillo) and aged only about four months in French oak. This young expression from Ribera del Duero displays big dark fruit flavors of blackberries and currants. The light oak is balanced adding just a touch of spice and rounding out the tannins. - $1.25 Sample

 2015 Frontonio Microcosmico Garnacha

Valdejalon, Spain; $17.99

“A garage, old vines, and a dream.”

Growth for this winery has exploded over the past few years. At this point I believe they could be classified as a “Micro-winery” by Spanish standards. Less than 1500 cases of this Garnacha were produced. They operate as a very traditional, minimal intervention winery. All the grapes are hand harvested and still crushed by foot saying it is “entertaining and traditional.” Fermented in and aged in concrete vats for 10 months. The wine shows notes of white pepper and a bit of smokiness layered with juicy dense raspberry and strawberry flavors.- $1.25 Sample
