Featured Wines:

2016 Albert Seltz Pinot Auxerrois

Alsace, France; $17.99

Albert Seltz is situated in the heart of Mittelbergheim in the Bas-Rhin of Alsace. Albert is the 14th generation owner and winemaker, he took over from his father in 1980 when he was only 19 years old. He follows strictly sustainable organic agricultural practices along with minimal intervention winemaking, employing indigenous yeast and extended sur lie aging. This Auxerrois Blanc shows aromas of honeysuckle, lemons, crisp apples and a touch of spice. Very refreshing on the palate showing flavors that support the nose with additional notes of ripe melons. - $1.50 Sample

2016 Chateau Perron Bordeaux Blanc

Graves, France; $19.99

This is one of the best Bordeaux Blancs I have had in a long time. Chateau Perron was founded in 1531. With nearly 500 years of winemaking under their belts I am glad to see they are getting something right. Their estate is located in Graves, in the southwestern corner of Bordeaux. The white blend is made up of a very traditional blend of 50% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Semillon, and 10% Muscadelle. An explosive nose with lots of honeysuckle and big fruit aromas. Wonderful juicy citrus and pineapple flavors with a crisp racy acidity. - $1.50 Sample

2015 Domaine Mas de Lavail “Ballade” Carignan

Languedoc-Roussillon, France; $13.99

Started by winemaker Jean Batlle in 1999. His son Nicolas has taken over in the cellar these days. The family manage 80 hectares of vineyards situated in the foothills of the Pyrenees at the foot of a Cathar castle in the upper Agly Valley. They grow a mixture of Grenache, Grenache Blanc, Grenache Gris, as well as Syrah and Carignan most of which is between 40 and 50 years old. The Ballade rogue is 100% Carignan. Wonderful acidity in this red wine. Ripe, juicy red fruits. Loads of cherries and cranberry. Good body with soft tannins and great balance. - $1.00 Sample

2016 Pic & Chapoutier Cotes-du-Rhone

Rhone Valley, France; $14.99

Pic & Chapoutier is a collaboration between world renowned chef Anne-Sophie Pic and Michel Chapoutier. Anne-Sophie Pic is the fourth female chef to ever receive three Michelin stars as her restaurant Maison Pic in southeastern France. They have a shared passion for the dining experience and work together creating dishes and crafting wines from start to finish with the food in mind.

The dish chef Pic created was a game meat terrine with pickled red onion. They then crafted this Grenache and Syrah blend to compliment. It is a very rich and complex Cotes-du-Rhone. Loads of morello cherry with a nice licorice and peppery finish. - $1.00 Sample
