Pinot Noir has its home in Burgundy France but it has now been widely planted throughout the world with great success despite being one of the hardest grapes to grow. We are going to compare this wonderful grape from different areas starting with New Zealand where it is a relatively new phenomenon. We will then taste two of the best Pinots from the US; one from Sonoma in California and the other from Oregon. We will then end with a premier cru from Pommard in Burgundy France.
