MICHEAL DAVID’S FREAKSHOW WINES
Micheal and David Phillips are 5th generation Lodi viticulturalists and wine makers, with their family owning property in Lodi dating back to 1860. The 6th generation is now stepping in and helping out their fathers with Micheal’s daughter Melissa being the latest to get her hands in the grapes. The Freakshow Wines have very distinctive labels, I’m sure you would agree, and are meant to commemorate that cultural phenomenon which was a traveling show. Roll from town to town and put on a show! As a former wine rep, this comparison deeply resonates… All of the grapes in these wines are from Lodi, an area known for producing wines with rich fruit character as distinct as the characters on the bottles themselves.
